Two terminals, one rental car center, and a better option
Harry Reid International Airport has two passenger terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, each with its own roadway, garage and baggage claim. There is no Terminal 2, and the two buildings are not a quick walk apart. Airlines are split between them, so the first thing to check on any arrival is which terminal you land at.
Why the Rental Car Center takes so long
The big rental brands all work out of the Rental Car Center, a standalone building about three miles from the terminals. After baggage claim you find the shuttle stop, ride over, and queue at a counter. On a busy Friday afternoon that can take longer than the drive to your hotel.
Meeting a car-share vehicle instead
Car-share handoffs follow the airport's own rules for where they can happen, and those rules change from time to time. The team confirms the exact meeting point for your terminal when your booking is confirmed. Our airport and hotel handoff service explains the whole process, including what happens if your flight runs late.

Paradise is more than the airport
Paradise is an unincorporated town run by Clark County, not by the City of Las Vegas. It holds most of the Strip, the airport, UNLV on Maryland Parkway and Allegiant Stadium, just west of the I-15.
Getting out of the airport fast
From the terminals, the airport connector tunnel runs under the runways and joins the 215 beltway to the south. That is often the quickest way toward Henderson or the southwest valley. Heading to the resorts, the central Strip is usually ten to twenty minutes away depending on traffic.
Home handoffs nearby
Paradise also has plenty of homes and condos east of the Strip. Locals between cars and families hosting visitors can have a sedan dropped at the door instead of making a trip to the airport.

Neighboring areas from the airport
The airport sits at the center of the areas we serve most. North and west, the resort corridor along the Las Vegas Strip begins within a couple of miles. Across the I-15, Spring Valley and the Chinatown restaurants are a short drive west. Further north up the freeway, downtown and Fremont Street are about twenty minutes away outside rush hour.

Renting a car in Harry Reid Airport: questions
Which terminal will we meet at?
The one your flight uses. Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are separate buildings with separate roadways, so include your airline and flight number and the team confirms the meeting point.
Can I return the car at the airport?
Yes. Airport returns are planned the same way as pickups, at a spot and time agreed in advance. Leave time for security.
